Minister says G7 officials mull no Russian oil embargo on Friday

BERLIN, May 20 (PRIME) -- The G7 Finance Ministers have not discussed an embargo on Russian oil on Friday, Germany's Finance Minister Christian Lindner said.

Germany is actively working to stop Russian oil imports, he also said. Gas imports will stop as soon as this is technically and economically possible, he added.

According to Lindner, Russian state assets could be used in favor of Ukraine, but this issue requires further discussions.
